Yes! Our keypads are fully functional with the Sea-Ray OEM keypads. The new keypads do look and feel a bit different, so they will not match the look of the older keypads, but they are fully compatible with the OEM keypads and EIM system.
The outer dimensions, hole pattern and connector location are identical to the original keypads. The keypads install into the existing mounting holes. No drilling or cutting is required. The keypads have new updated graphics and the button layout and organization is different than the OEM. The surface finish is identical to match the rest of the original Sea-Ray helm.

There are a few options. You can always return the keypad for full refund (excluding shipping) within 30 days of purchase. Alternatively see the troubleshooting page for additional troubleshooting steps. Next, please contact us. We can better understand the symptoms you are experiencing and offer additional advice. Worst case if the problem is found to be an issue with the EIM, you can ship the EIMs for testing and repair.
As long as we can re-create the issue on the bench, we have been 100% successful fixing EIMs. In general, EIMs are pretty reliable but they can fail just like any other electronics. If the issue is caused by a wiring, power or grounding issue on the boat, this can be the most difficult to diagnose remotely. Luckily this is extremely rare.
We can customize the outer plastic shell. Custom finishes will add additional lead-time and cost. Please contact us for more information.
Yes. We ship standard UPS ground which is free. Two day AIR shipping is roughly $25 and overnight AIR is roughly $45.

Savin’ the SeaRays
Hi, I’m Chris. I am an electronic design engineer who owns a Sea-Ray Sundancer 290. I spent over a year designing and investing in developing a replacement keypad compatible with the SeaRay EIM system. My goal was to extend the life of these beautiful boats. I am now selling my replacement product directly to Sea-Ray owners and committed to helping get their electrical systems functioning again.
